Entering midlife brings a series of changes, especially when it comes to your body as the transition towards menopause begins. Many women experience uncomfortable symptoms ranging from hot flushes to anxiety, a 30% drop off in collagen production* and changes in energy levels and sleep patterns.
To make matters worse, this natural transition has long been viewed as something to be ashamed of or something that women should just "get on with" in silence. This culture of silence only serves to perpetuate the stigma and makes it even harder for women to get the help and support they need during this important time in their lives.
Midlife and menopause are natural parts of the ageing process and we think they deserve to be celebrated, not shrouded in secrecy and shame.
We think it’s time to break the taboo and start talking openly about menopause and the issues related to Midlife.
